Julia Weaver
Special Counsel
Julia Weaver is a Special Counsel at Margalit Injury Lawyers, leading the firm’s Medical Negligence practice. She holds a Bachelor of Science (Biomedical Science) and a Master of Arts (Writing and Editing) from the University of Queensland, as well as a Juris Doctor from Monash University. She completed her practical legal training through the Leo Cussen Centre for Law.
With a rare combination of medical and legal expertise, Julia brings a unique depth of understanding to every matter she handles. She has dedicated her career to acting on behalf of injured individuals, using her strong investigative skills and medical insight to uncover the facts and achieve fair outcomes for her clients.
Julia is recognised for her tenacity, empathy, and ability to help clients make sense of what has happened to them. Her approach is grounded in compassion and clarity, ensuring that every client feels heard, informed, and supported throughout the legal process.
Outside of work, Julia enjoys spending time with her family and friends, whether hiking in nature or dancing to live music. She is also passionate about fairness and social justice and is actively involved in the union movement.
